Deck Joists Support on Hangers
Dear Sirs,
Regarding the referenced project, Luke Sigler, Sigler Construction LLC, requested that
review the support of deck joists on the joist hangers, because the end of the joists were
short approximately'/2" and did not fully reach the back of the hanger.
Upon review of photographic evidence of the support on the hangers and the joist loads
involved, I find that the brackets are providing adequate support for the joists. No
remediation actions are required for this condition.
