Epoxy Reinforcing Steel Dowel Installation:
As requested, I was on site to observe the installation of epoxied anchor dowels on the four outer walls of the house. I observed the contractors
cleaning the drilled holes by blowing them out with compressed air, and brushing the holes with a bottle brush. The holes were at least 8" deep.
The contractors used Simpson Strong Tie Set XP Epoxy, with an expiration date of 04/17/24. Sufficient quantities of the epoxy were placed in
the holes prior to installing the 5/8" all thread anchor dowels, with one full circle rotation. A total of 16 dowels were installed at this location.
Items inspected are in conformance with approved plans, specifications and jurisdictional requirements
