The float support mooring piles are 3" galvanized steel, also galvanized 3/16" chain an(
shackles.The pontoon material: Float Encasement Specifications: All units -ere -
manufactured from linear virgin polyethylene resin containing UV ray inhibitors and
carbon black pigment to protect against untra-violet deterioration. These resins offer
toughness, rigidity, environmental stress crack resistance and low temperature impact
performance; and compliance with the FDA title 21 (will not contaminate the waterways
and is recyclable).

- A diamond plate will be secured to the landward end of the ramp, allowing
the ramp to slide against the soil slightly as needed
Ramp/Floats
- Above water stringer material to be Doug fir #2 or better, ACZA treated to .40 or refusal
- Stringers secured to each pontoon using 3/8x10" gals. carriage bolts with
2x2" square galv. steel washers.
- Outside strings to be attached using 6"x12"xl/4" galv. angle iron. Each angle will
be attached with (8) 1/2x4.5" galv. carriage bolts.
- Inside stringers to be attached using (6) 3"x5"xl/4" galv. angle iron.
- If inside stringers are not labeled, they will be attached with 2"x8" glay. steel hangers.
- Decking to be Thru-Flow grating and will be secured using 3" S.S deck screws.
- 4'x4' Ace pontoons to be used for floatation. RESUB
