HOLD HARMLESS
THE APPLICANT ON BEHALF OF HIS OR HER SPOUSE HEIRS ASSIGNS AND SUCCESSORS IN INTERESTS
AGREES TO INDEMNIFY DEFEND AND HOLD HARMLESS THE CITY OF EDMONDS WASHINGTON ITS
OFFICIALS EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES OF WHATEVER
NATURE ARISING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM THE ISSUANCE FOR THIS PERMIT. ISSUANCE OF THIS
PERMIT SHALL NOT BE DEEMED TO MODIFY WAIVE OR REDUCE ANY REQUIREMENTS OF ANY CITY
ORDINANCE NOR LIMIT IN ANY WAY THE CITYS ABILITY TO ENFORCE ANY ORDINANCE PROVISION.

MAINTENANCE BOND
A Maintenance Bond or other financial guarantee equal to 30% of the replacement cost of the
landscaping shall be required prior to the issuance of a final Certificate of Occupancy.\r\r\r\r\r\r\r\r\r
PERFORMANCE BOND
A Performance Bond or other financial guarantee equal to 150% of the estimated cost of the
landscaping shall be required prior to the issuance of any construction, grading, or building permits.\r\r

SOUND OR NOISE
SOUND/NOISE ORIGINATING FROM TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION SITES AS A RESULT OF CONSTRUCTION
ACTIVITY ARE EXEMPT FROM THE NOISE LIMITS OF ECC CHAPTER 5.30 ONLY DURING THE HOURS OF
7:00 AM TO 6:00 PM ON WEEKDAYS AND 10:00 AM TO 6:00 PM ON SATURDAYS, EXCLUDES SUNDAY
AND FEDERAL HOLIDAYS. AT ALL OTHER TIMES THE NOISE ORIGINATING FROM CONSTRUCTION
SITES/ACTIVITIES MUST COMPLY WITH THE NOISE LIMITS OF CHAPTER 5.30, UNLESS A VARIANCE HAS
BEEN GRANTED PURSUANT TO ECC 5.30.120.
SPECIAL INSPECTIONS ENG
SPECIAL INSPECTIONS HAVE BEEN CALLED FOR ON THIS PROJECT AND ARE NOTED ON THE APPROVED
CIVIL PLANS. IT IS THE OWNER AND OR CONTRACTORS RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT REPORTS ARE
PROVIDED TO THE ENGINEERING DIVISION ON A WEEKLY BASIS.
