PLN2022-0065_FINAL_emailFrom: Powers, Deb To: Charles Lough; Julie Lough Subject: PLN2022-0065/Tree Cutting Permit Date: Friday, October 14, 2022 6:40:54 PM Hi Julie and Charles, Thank you for your patience — I'm finally catching up to my overdue permit reviews. Thank you for submitting the arborist report with appraised values for the fir and cedar, a replanting plan, and the reasons for tree removal on a subdividable lot without a permit. The payment of the appraised value of the 2 trees will be waived. You will have one year to plant your replacement trees, which must be a minimum size of 1.5 inches caliper for deciduous trees and 6' in height for evergreen trees. Please notify me when you have planted the required replacement trees so I can schedule an inspection. I noticed that at intake, the permit tech did not assess the Type 1 permit fee, likely because it was unclear whether this would become a code enforcement case. So now that the review is complete (essentially your permit has been approved) you will be invoiced for Type 1 permit processing. I think it's $275 and possibly a $30 technical fee if it goes through mbp.com. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Take care and have a great weekend!
