Prepare roof for a PVC recover over the exlssting roof membrane. Inspect roof for defects and repal'r as needed at a tl'me and materl'al basls @ $89/hr. Install new retrofit drains into existing plumbing and new PVC liners on the overflow drains. Every attempt will be done to reuse the exi-sting metal, but If It Is sealed or nailed to parapet and cannot be removed without damaging new metal will be purchased as an additional cost to the contract price. Existing metal Is also taped on seams and will be needed to be pal'nted If re -taped upon re -Installation. Install a 1/4" Densdeck coverboard to the entire roof surface Install a synthetic separation sheet on all parapets and curbs. Install a 60mil PVC membrane to manufacturer's specification. Color: Copper Flash skylight curbs using PVC membrane and re -install existing skylights. Rebuild ridge vent box and put the appropriate vent and flashing as needed. Install new vents and factory -made pl'pe flashl'ng on all penetrations. Flash PVC behind existing chimney counterflash ing and install a new skirt metal. Lifetime Flat Roofs will issue anew contract upon request to reflect any possible changes th price. • MAINTENANCE - PVC Membranes require no specific maintenance to the membrane surface or to hot air -welded seams. However, any sealants applied at pipe boots, terminatibn bars, or other terminations require periodic inspection and re -application. • URGENCY OF WORK UNDER T&M CONDITIONS - Though not common, if a situation arises ih which an unexpected t&m repair is necessary for a defect discovered during the project, a best effort will be made to alert the customer before continuing. However, in the interest of making sure the building stays protected from water intrusion, we may make the decisibn to continue with work regardless of whether the customer has been notified or not, if it is judged to put the building at risk by stopping work. Protecting your building is our highest urgency. • INTERIOR DEBRIS AND DAMAGE - Dunhg any roof work and specifically during skylight work, there is a possibility that some light debris and dust may enter the building through openings. Customers are advised to relocate any valuables from walls or shelves that could fall due to vibrations. Customers are advised to place drop cloths over items which may have dust or light debrs fall on them from the ceiling. In addition, some cosmetic damage to ceiling drywall and plaster may occur such as cracks in drywall joints or `nail pops". A best effort will be made to reduce vibrations and avoid these, but they are sometimes unavoidable. Customers are advised that Lifetime Flat Roofs assumes no liability for these interior damages and customers are advised to procure a drywall and/or paint contractor as required. • INTERIOR WATER DAMAGE - On any roof, there is a possibility that water will intrude ihto the interior of the structure either during the installation or after. Lifetime Flat Roofs accepts no liability for consequential damages. • STANDING WATER - Some amount of standing water on a flat roof is normal and is not indicative of a problem. Though many times puddles may be able to be reduced in size or moved toward drains, the eliminatibn of all puddles and standing water is not guaranteed. Notice to customer: This contractor is registered with the state of Washington. (UBI)/(BOND#) as a general contractor and has posted with the state a bond of$72,000 For the purpose of satisfying claims against the contractor for negligent or improper work or breach of contract in the conduct of contractor's business. This bond may not be sufficient to cover a claim which might arise from work underyour contract. If any supplier of materials used in your construction project or any employee of the contractor or subcontractor is not paid by the contractor or subcontractor on your jbb, your property may be h6ned for forced payment.
