NOTES:
• PRICE IS GOOD FOR 30 DAYS - Due to recent pnce volatility of construction materials, the price on this
contract is valid for 30 days from the date of receipt. Lifetime Flat Roofs will issue anew contract upon
request to reflect any possible changes th price.
• MAINTENANCE - PVC Membranes require no specific maintenance to the membrane surface or to hot
air -welded seams. However, any sealants applied at pipe boots, terminatibn bars, or other terminations
require periodic inspection and re -application.
• URGENCY OF WORK UNDER T&M CONDITIONS - Though not common, if a situation arises ih which an
unexpected t&m repair is necessary for a defect discovered during the project, a best effort will be made to
alert the customer before continuing. However, in the interest of making sure the building stays protected
from water intrusion, we may make the decisibn to continue with work regardless of whether the customer
has been notified or not, if it is judged to put the building at risk by stopping work. Protecting your building
is our highest urgency.
• INTERIOR DEBRIS AND DAMAGE - Dunhg any roof work and specifically during skylight work, there is a
possibility that some light debris and dust may enter the building through openings. Customers are
advised to relocate any valuables from walls or shelves that could fall due to vibrations. Customers are
advised to place drop cloths over items which may have dust or light debrs fall on them from the ceiling.
In addition, some cosmetic damage to ceiling drywall and plaster may occur such as cracks in drywall
joints or `nail pops". A best effort will be made to reduce vibrations and avoid these, but they are
sometimes unavoidable. Customers are advised that Lifetime Flat Roofs assumes no liability for these
interior damages and customers are advised to procure a drywall and/or paint contractor as required.
• INTERIOR WATER DAMAGE - On any roof, there is a possibility that water will intrude ihto the interior of
the structure either during the installation or after. Lifetime Flat Roofs accepts no liability for
consequential damages.
• STANDING WATER - Some amount of standing water on a flat roof is normal and is not indicative of a
problem. Though many times puddles may be able to be reduced in size or moved toward drains, the
eliminatibn of all puddles and standing water is not guaranteed.
