Thank you for submitting a hazard tree removal request. The removal of the declining 18" DBH Lawson cypress located
on your property has been approved per ECDC 23.40.220.C.8(b)ii and as recommended by your arborist. Feel free to
print this email for your tree care company to show the tree removal has been authorized by the City.
Due to the presence of multiple critical areas (stream, landside/erosion hazard and greater than 25% slope), 2
replacement trees are required per ECDC 23.40.220.C.8(b)i and iv. Once the replacement trees have been planted,
please notify me or the Planning Division to schedule an inspection verifying the removal conditions have been met.
