Our permit number is BLD2019-1089 at 18504 82nd Ave W Edmonds, 98026 Our permit expires in April of 2021. We were initially scheduled to start this project in March of 2020 when COVID hit and put everything to a halt. We had cancelled all material orders as well as the entire project. Due to COVID restrictions, delay of contractors, and the lack of supply on materials ( all Covid related) we cannot start this project until Spring of 2021 which is when our permit expires. Our plan at this point is to start packing up our house in February and start demo and removal of unnecessary parts in March and get started on the remodel of the house with a goal completion date of October 31, 2021. We are now committing to be the General Contractors on this project, hiring licensed contractors for electrical, plumbing, roof, and more who will have their own permits approved through the City of Edmonds when necessary. We will install trim, finishes, paint and all the pretty stuff ourselves. We have been the General Contractors many times before but not in Edmonds so we are not sure if there is something we need to do other than have the name of the GC changed. Please let me know how to renew our building permit before April 2021 and what steps we need to take to get the home owners GC permit changed from Rain City Remodeling to Tiel and Desiree Riise. We also need to change the email contact on the permit itself as it is missing an "s" before the last "e" It currently says desireeriie@gmail .
