A. Duties and Rgspanjibiaixies of the Special„IMPecto.�
1. OBSERVE WORK
The special insgectalr shall observe the site w►o& for coni'ormanot Aith the approved (slump, ayd)
plans and specifications. Special iiispectioris are to be performed as needed, to confi a that the
work brag completed tweets specifications and approved places.
2. REPORT NONCONFORMING I`1<'E,h'B
The special inspector shall bribg aon-conforming items to the immediate attention of he
contractor and engineer of record, The special inspector shall provide a report to the Enginee4ag
Div%sion notifying of any items -not resolved andl'or not installed per the apprgved plans and
specifications.
.Items not constructed per the approved plans and speeftiestiom; will result in a .review of the plans
to dete€mine what requirements ruifl be deeded for the project to meet the noicessary stormwater
requirements; such as removal and rcconsuuctican, re -design of the stormwaiter management
systet ws etc.
Final approval for the project will not occur until installation of all required irnpcovementa is
complete and accepted by the Special I.nspectox and the City.
3. F AL CONSTRUCTION REPORT
The spccizd impecto'r or inspection agency shall submit a final signed report or Certificate of
Coullpiianco to the City starting that all items requirinig special insper�tion and testing were 'fidfilfed
and reported. The .report shall also include a statement fir the inspector stating to the best of
hisJlier knowledge the project is in cainfo rnance with the approved plans, specifications. and
aWroved pl,a 9 mvisimu;, if'any, JUML not, in confon'nance, unrcsolved itmns or any liscrepaunclea
