1. Second floor is to remain as is. See attached plans
2. Plan sheets were number and labeled.
3. Fixtures existing and proposed:
-6 toilets, 10 sinks, 2 bathtubs, 2 showers, 1 washing machine. Total of 21 fixtures.
4. The scope of work is:
- to make 2 bedrooms and 2 half bathrooms in the existing living room,
- build a new bathroom in the existing laundry room
-open bathroom and closet for an existing office room
Existing opening of one exterior wall to be filled in with drywall over wood frame, insulation, siding. To
build the interior walls: doing non-structural, non-resistance partition wall, made of drywall over wood
frame using 2x4x8's. Walls don't need reinforcement down below.
36" doors will be added to the new rooms and to the bathrooms.
32" door added to the laundry room.
Smoke/CO2 detectors will be added, wired and interconnected. New window added in one
bathroom.
Existing windows remain as is.
5. Smoke/CO2 detectors will be added, see plan. Units will be wired and interconnected to a
separate breaker at the electric panel in the garage. It will comply with section R330.5 per WAC
51-51-0330
6. Minimum prescriptive value of the new window will be .30 as per 2018 WSEC.
7. Grab bars in bathrooms and showers will comply with section R330.8 per WAC 51-51-0330
8. Ramp will comply to WAC 51-51-0330 Section R331-8
-All wood must be pressure -treated or naturally resistant to decay. Treat cuts, holes, and
notches with end -cut solution.
• Fasteners, hangers, nails, etc., must be stainless steel, hot -dipped galvanized, or as
specifically required for the specified wood preservative used. The coating weights for zinc -
coated fasteners to be in accordance with ASTM A 153.
