Pole to be replaced after woodpecker nesting season ending in September. PUD will be removing (1) 45 ft wood pole and installing (1) 45 ft ductile iron pole. This is a repair project. Existing pole has splitting all the way down the pole as well as holes/nests at the top. Pole is bad order and past the point of repair. It will need to be replaced. No concrete or asphalt will be impacted. PUD will drill a new hole in the Description grass tight SW of existing pole. Transfer of utilities, removal of pole and final restoration to be of Work: consistent with applicable Pole Attachment Agreement and Joint Ownership Pole Agreement. PUD does not anticipate any additional infrastructure added or removed from existing. Transformer will be transferred to new pole and PUD will utilize existing anchor system which is newer. PUD will have (1) flagger on site to accommodate traffic calming. There are approximately 8 houses impacted by lane/shoulder closure but traffic will be safely ushered around project.
