23400 Highway 99 — BP Revision Overview
Dear Mr. Bjorback:
Our planner, Brad Shipley, requested the changes below be submitted to the building department.
The attached revised building permit sheets for 23400 Highway 99 contain proposed minimal changes to
the building exterior.
The changes include (1) revision of the brick masonry and (2) revision and reduction of the exterior
balconies.
The reduction of the scale of the balconies from a 3-bay balcony to a single -bay and a 12% overall
reduction of unit balconies and serve to enhance privacy of adjacent neighbors to the west and north and
limit adverse (visual clutter) storage on balconies. The revision of the brick masonry to colored board
form concrete will better enhance the modern aesthetic of the Edmonds frontage and create a more
cohesive visual connection to the residential massing above.
