Traffic Control Plan, Permit #
The traffic control plan is for the work of the crane take down. The work will require the
two right south bound lanes & the sidewalk to be closed. The traffic heading south
bound will shift left to the furthest left travel lane. Pedestrian's will use the Pedestrian
Walkway in the center south bound lane, protected by Jersey Barriers to walk around
work zone.

NOTES
1. A TMA is required for roadway 45 mph or higher. For roads 40 mph or less -
If a TMA is not available, the protective work vehicle shall be strategically located in
the field to shield workers and no roll ahead distance is specified.
2. Extend device taper across shoulder.
3. Devices should not encroach into adjacent lanes, see sheet TCP16 for
encroachment detail. The 2' lateral buffer is recommended.
4. Use transverse devices in closed lane every 1000' - when work operation
allows.
5. Traffic safety drums or tall channelization devices required for all lane
closures tapers on roadway 45 mph or higher. (Half spacing required for tall
channelization devices).
6. When used, device spacing for the downstream taper should be 20' O.C.
7. Coordinate with Region Traffic office for work hour restrictions.
