To whom this may concern:
At the request of Progressive Construction this office reviewed the HDU14,
HDU4(THROUGH), and HDU8(THROUGH) specification found on the holdown schedule
(S3.0 dated 05/09/2022).
The following clarification/revisions may be made:
1) The HDU14 shall use a Simpson Strong -Tie PAB8 anchor, or approved equivalent.
Anchor embedment and edge distance requirements are provided in the `de' and `F'
columns of the holdown schedule.
2) HDU4(THROUGH) plate washers may be substituted for (1) 3x3x1/4" A36 plate washer.
3) HDU8(THROUGH) plate washers may be substituted for (2) 3 RIA" A36 plate
