SITE WORK:
Provide special storage as required by manufacturer of each building product to protect
either the material, the building, the environment or the installers from harmful fumes,
damage or loss due to improper storage.
Verify slope of existing topography prior to start of work.
Remove all existing obstructions that may include footings, slabs, tree roots, rocks or
other organic material that may interfere with site and / or foundation work.
Compact soil with a mechanical compactor for large areas or a hand tamp for small
ones to the proper elevations as noted on plans.

NOTES:

2. MAINTENANCE — THE ENTRANCE SHALL BE MAINTAINED IN A CONDITION WHICH WILL PREVENT TRACKING OR FLOWING
OF SEDIMENT OFF SITE AND/OR ONTO PUBLIC RIGHT—OF—WAY. THIS MAY REQUIRE PERIODIC TOP DRESSING WITH
ADDITIONAL QUARRY SPALLS AS CONDITIONS DEMAND AND REPAIR AND/OR CLEANOUT OF ANY MEASURES USED TO
TRAP SEDIMENT. ALL SEDIMENT SPILLED, DROPPED, WASHED OR TRACKED OFF SITE AND/OR ONTO PUBLIC
RIGHT—OF—WAY MUST BE REMOVED IMMEDIATELY.
3. WHEELS SHALL BE CLEANED TO REMOVE SEDIMENT PRIOR TO LEAVING THE SITE. WHEN WASHING IS USED, IT SHALL
BE DONE ON AN AREA STABILIZED WITH QUARRY SPALLS AND WHICH DRAINS INTO AN APPROVED SEDIMENT TRAPPING
DEVICE.
4.INSPECTION AND NEEDED MAINTENANCE SHALL BE PROVIDED AFTER EACH RAIN.
