LOCATION: 22810 Edmonds Wav JURISDICTION: Ciry of Edmonds KA P.M.: JM WEATHER: Cloud TEMP: 561 F A Krazan representative visited the project site today to test the compaction of aggregate fill and obtain a sample. Upon arrival on site, the representative met with the contractor to discuss locations for testing and other relevant information about the aggregate in place. There were two (2) requested locations for testing: the NE and NW corners of the site extending into the main road (Edmonds Way). These locations were 8-ft below the base of the surrounding asphalt road on a 6" layer of 1 %-in aggregate from CalPortland. The contractor provided a proctor for the material used as fill. A total of two (2) nuclear gauge tests were taken at a depth of approximately 6-in, and the results met or exceeded the minimum required 95% compaction. The Krazan representative also obtained a sample of the 1 %-in minus material from a stockpile located on site. Site photos are attached below. See soil compaction report no. 09621521 SCR1 0272021 AL for additional details on nuclear gauge tests.
