Additional notes on revision: Karl Haack discussed revised scope of work with Jeff Whatmore on 10/25/23 and left a message for Natalie. Per Jeff, since PLI 189175 is a common utility pole that serves another premise (9003 220th St SW, the lot directly west) PUD should be able to upgrade the EXISTING lines to 4/0 in order to stay under the allowable voltage drop to provide service this new underground service to the customer, per our standards. No new poles are being set. No poles are being replaced. New service is underground. Per Trenchless, boring to underground this crossing instead is not an option because they don't think there is room to setup the drill. "Even if the contractor digs out an area 301 x 10'W that would put it right up against the new house foundation. The other concern is because there are so many utilities in the road (storm, water, gas, sewer, another water) there is a concern even if we get the drill in there we wont be able to find a path to drill in the conduit. Normally when we have a lot of utilities in the road we move the drill back onto the property more in order to get under all these utilities. In this case, if the contractor was to dig out an area for the drill it doesn't allow us room to move the drill back if we need to avoid an existing utility. In my honest opinion I don't think this bore is going to work."
