GENERAL NOTES AND LIABILITY:
Provide signage for the fire department connection to identify the systems pursuant to NFPA
13 section 8.17.2.4.7.1 and NFPA 14 section 6.4.5.2.
All system piping is to be supported per manufacturer's specifications and is to be secured to
prevent lateral movement. Pipe is to be secured to prevent sprinkler head movement.
Moore Fire Protection's warranty of work does not cover any damage due to freeze related
problems. Wet piping shall be protected against temperatures below 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
Insulation installed for this purpose shall be located on the cold side of the pipe only with no
insulation on the warm side of the pipe facing the heated interior. Coordinate with general I
and/or insulation contractor. All insulation to be by others.
Moore Fire Protection shall not be responsible for the ability of the structure to adequately
support the fire sprinkler system or any appurtenances thereof.
Owner is responsible for the periodic inspection, testing and maintenance of the water based
fire protection system(s) in accordance with the requirements of NFPA 25.
