The rest of the far -end section rounding the corner of property is still fully functional, and we will keep that in place, as with the hand- rail in the fore -ground leading down the stair -steps to the parking lot. The fence was damaged by a car accident from a ice storm on the night of 2022/12/24. See attached work proposal that was previously submitted to Mr. Antillon for review. Attached i is the selected quote from contractor, Town and Country Fence, with map of fence (about 11 Oft length). We have been working with City Project Director Oscar Antillon on selecting the appropriate fence for Description replacement (black vinyl coated chain -link fence 42" height, matching an existing section with of Work: similar appearance facing the 228th St side. Per contractor, Town and Country Fence, they will not need to shut -down the sidewalk or have traffic interruption during the construction, nor will there be excavation or interruption of any utility services. Fence posts are bolted down to concrete walkway surface, similar to arrangement for the existing Aluminum railing fence. We have worked closely with Mr. Antillon during the proposal and vendor selection process, and have received his email agreement to proceed. He advised that the ROW permit is likely all that is required for this fence replacement effort. Project is expected to start on early to mid -December 2023, and is expected to be completed in 1-day.
