THE FOLLOWING WAS NOTED:
Associated Earth Sciences Inc. (AESI) was onsite at 10am, as requested by the contractor to observe and document pipe
pile installation.
Pile Installation:
A total of three, 2-inch diameter pipe piles were installed today. Their lengths are summarized in the table below. The
pipe piles were installed using a pneumatic, 140 lb. Rhino hammer. Refusal was defined as 60 seconds/inch.
These pipe piles replace helical pile H3 on the updated plans from CG Engineering (see Fig. 1). The piles appeared to be
installed to minimum specifications, per plan.
This will be AESI's final site visit as all helical and pipe pile installations have been completed as presented on the project
plans. AESI left the site at 1:30PM.
