Edmonds WA 98020 To Whom it May Concern, J2m!111111-11 BUILDING CONSULTANTS J2 Building Consultants, Inc. (J2) is providing weatherization design and detailing for the proposed exterior building renovation at the existing property noted above. The project includes 5 residential wood framed buildings, originally constructed in 1983, totaling 29 residential units and a single common area room. The scope of work is to remove existing siding, windows & sliding glass doors, deck coating, guardrails and roofing. The scope does not include modifying insulation in any assembly. All new windows and sliding glass doors will have a U value of .30 or better. Existing exterior private deck and unit entry light fixtures will be replaced with LED fixtures. No additional fixtures or rewiring is in the scope of work. Due to the fact that this is an existing property and wall assemblies are not being modified and it is not economically feasible to modify the building, as originally constructed, to meet the stringent standards of current energy codes we feel that an energy analysis is not required.
