The homeowner would like to add roof over -framing on top of the existing area of flat roof to create
a new shed roof. The new shed roof will align with the existing ridge, so there is no change in
building height. Please find enclosed the revised roof plan, as well as building elevations and sections
showing the area of over -framing. Also included are revised structural details, and a memo from the
structural engineer of record stating their requirements for the over -framing.
