INSPECTION OBSERVATION / REMARKS
1. I arrived at JAS Steel Fabricating to observe HSS components 6x5x1/2 (2), 8x4x.625, and 8x6x.625 are clean and beveled for welding in the
field.
2. The HSS6x5x1/2 columns were welded all around to the 3/4"x5"x1'-2" base plates, with 3/16" fillet welds.
3. The welds are visually acceptable according to AWS D1.1 profiles.
Items inspected are in conformance with approved plans, specifications, and jurisdictional requirements
