Per 2018 IFC 1204.2.1.2 SETBACKS AT RIDGE; "Photovoltaic arrays occupying more than 33% of total roof area, a setback of not less than 36 inches wide is required on both sides of a horizontal ridge." Installing contractor states that there is only 24 inch setback on each side of the horizontal ridge.
