BLD2023-1429+Narrative+11.8.2023_4.36.59_PM+3890194North Haven office conversion narrative: RECEIVED Nov 09 2023 CITY OF EDMONDS DEVELOPMENT SERVICES DEPARTMENT BLD2023-1429 Goal: Existing apartment has been used as an office and will be reclassified as an apartment, adding one more unit to the existing, documented total. This unit already has a kitchen, shower, bathroom, living room and bedroom. No structural changes will be needed. Required smoke detectors have been installed. The property currently consists of 32 residential units and 63 parking spots. Project would bring the unit total to 33. Currently some of the building electrical breakers are in the electrical panel inside the unit. We would hire an electrical company to obtain their own electrical permit with the following scope of work; - Relocate the building electrical breakers to a utility closet adjacent to the unit, a distance of 9' 8". This utility closet already has the remainder of the building breakers in it as well. A new breaker panel will be installed in the unit that will only include breakers for that unit. A meter for this unit will also be added to the exterior wall of the bedroom. The remaining renovation scope would only include paint and replacing existing kitchen appliances.
