As requested, I have reviewed changing the framing from 9-1/2" TJI/210 joists at 16" o.c. to 1-3/4" x 5-
1/2" 2.0E Microllam LVL joists (or equivalent) at 12" o.c.
While the revised floor framing as stiff as the original design, the revised framing is code compliant and
achieves a reasonable floor performance level. Revising the floor framing to 1-3/4" x 5-1/2" min. 2.0E
LVL joists is approved.
