RE 720 Driftwood Ln — Renovation Design
It is our understanding that there is concern with the proposed remodel intentions
for the residence located at 720 Driftwood Ln and if structural review/design is
required. On September 7, we met on site with the build team to review the
proposed alterations to the existing residence. Upon observation of the as -built
framing conditions and remodel intentions, a partial framing plan & detail, along
with structural calculations and general notes have been provided to address the
new beam over the kitchen & dining room spaces.
It is our understanding that there was also a concern with the proposed shifting of
bathroom door at the west end of the residence. Upon observation of the framing
in the roof, this wall was found to be non-structural and the shifting of the door
poses no structural impact.
