RE_ Main street Commons - Gravity grease interceptor application; BLD2021-0033From: Derrick, Michael To: Michael 1. There is no objection to you ordering the interceptor. A 1,500 gallon unit has been approved. The location of the interceptor, as shown on drawing A2.5, appears to be partially inside a fenced area and under recycling/dumpster bins. It is required that the interceptor is installed so as to provide easy access at all times for inspection, cleaning, and repair work. Please locate the interceptor so that the interceptor and the access manholes are always easily accessible. We would appreciate seeing an drawing showing the new location of the interceptor prior to its installation. Please give us several days' lead time prior to installation. The tenant drawing are not yet done, to show the connection to each fixture, but we would like to get the grease interceptor installed ahead of this so we can complete our site work. Is the attached plans sufficient to allow us to proceed with ordering and installing the grease interceptor? Mike Mclsaac Wilcox Construction Inc. The installation of the tank will need to be inspected. I have added review comments to the City's Community Development portal. They are attached here for your use.
