Final Summary Letter:
This letter certifies that we have performed a thorough review of all available materials as provided by
TerraFirma Foundation Systems.
Vista Structural Engineering, LLC has examined the job photos and the as -built sketch as provided by
TerraFirma Foundation Systems and approves of the installation means and methods for this project.
Field observations establish that joist framing is in parallel with the exterior wall where the new egress
has been made. The contractor has installed a new double 2x10 header at the opening with full height
blocking (x3) in the adjacent joist bay. The installation was otherwise completed as shown on the
structural drawings, dated 1/26/2024.�
This letter has been provided in an effort to meet the requirements of the building department and does
not constitute a guarantee of the installed work. It is the responsibility of the contractor to execute the
work in accordance with the approved structural drawings.
