Proposal: To enclose the existing covered carport to make a garage.

Scope of Work:
1. A pressure treated sill plate will be attached along the perimeter of the carport using anchor
bolts.
2. 2x4 framing will be used to frame in the walls of the garage. The spacing of the 2x4's will be
16".
3. An out swinging door will be installed on the back side of the garage. Additional 2x4 framing will
be installed on the sides and for the header above the door. The door will be installed.
4. An insulated garage door (9'x7') will be installed at the front of the garage. Additional framing
will be installed on the sides of the opening. The existing beam will be used as the header for the
garage door, The garage door will be installed. A garage opener will be installed.
5. On the exterior side of the garage, 1/2" CDX plywood will be used for the sheathing. Siding
paper will be installed over the plywood and Hardiboard siding will be installed.
6. R13 faced insulation will be installed for the walls and the existing roof/ceiling.
7. Drywall (5/8") will be installed on the walls and textured.
