I. INTRODUCTION
The applicant has applied for a noise variance for night work associated with the removal of one
bad order pole and underground conduit at 5t' Ave S and Dayton St in association with right-of-
way permit ENG2024-0018.
The following is staff s analysis and decision on the proposal.
II. DECISION
The following decision is issued by the City of Edmonds Planning and Development Department.
Noise variances are reserved for special circumstances which the City has determined this project
does not meet. All work associated with the right-of-way permit can be performed during daytime
hours without burdening the public. Therefore, this noise variance request is DENIED.
III. APPEALS
Type I permit decisions may be appealed by a party of record to Snohomish County superior
court within 21 days of the date of the decision pursuant to ECDC 20.07.006.
