To whom it may concern,
Occasionally we at Coverstar are asked the question about whether or not our cover
fabric meets the vapor -retardant requirement that is outlined in the International Energy
Conservation Code. This codes states, "Heated pools shall be equipped with a vapor -
retardant pool cover on or at the water surface."
The cover material that is being used in the manufacture of Coverstar covers is a solid
vinyl fabric. Vinyl is a natural moisture barrier that prohibits the exchange of water
molecules through the membrane. Consequently, our fabric meets the vapor -retardant
pool cover requirement as outlined in the Energy Conservation Code.
