The Trane RTUs are placed on metal curb assemblies fabricated by Columbia Products which, in turn, are located over existing roof framing. The RTUs are attached to the metal roof curbs using #9 sheet metals screws at 6 inches on center and the curbs are secured to the structure using SDS25212 screws at 12 inches on center. This configuration is acceptable, structurally. Should you have any further comments or questions, feel free to contact me. Respectfully Submitted: DEGENKOLB ENGINEERS Prepared By: Michael A.
