Subject: Summary of Revisions to Permit Documents
Dear Cit of Edmonds Plan Reviewer:
Revisions were made to the mechanical and plumbing permit documents to accommodate a
revised architectural layout of several rooms on the second floor of the building. Room #218
Commission Meeting was relocated to the perimeter of the building and two new restrooms
were added. The shell & core Leasable Office space was deleted from the project. Please see
the list below for a summary of the mechanical and plumbing changes that were made as a
result of these layout changes.
Mechanical-
• New fan coil unit FCU-12c added to serve the Commission Meeting Room. Future FCU-
13 removed. Layout of fan coil units in this room also revised. (Sheets: M0.3, M1.2,
M1.4, M2.2, M3.4).
• VRF heat recovery unit HRU-01 relocated to storage room #219 for easier access above
the grid ceiling. (Sheets: M0.4, M1.2, M1.4).
• Ventilation calculations revised for the new layout. Diffusers/grilles and ductwork revised
accordingly in Commission Meeting Room, Restrooms, Storage Room, and Corridor.
(Sheets: M0.4, M1.2).
• Pipe routing revised to accommodate revised locations of FCUs & HRU. (Sheets: M1.4).
Plumbing:
• Sanitary waste & vent and domestic water pipe routing revised to serve new restrooms.
Plumbing stub -outs for future Leasable Office were deleted. (Sheets: P1.2, P1.3, P1.4,
P2.1)
• Plumbing fixture unit counts (DFU & WSFU) revised to account for new restrooms and
deletion of future Leasable Office. (Sheets: P0.3, P2.1)
