occupancy inspections.
• Any request for alternate design, modification, variance or other administrative deviation (hereinafter "variance") from
adopted codes, ordinances or policies must be specifically requested in writing and be called out and identified. Processing
fees for such request shall be established by Council and shall be paid upon submittal and are non-refundable.
Approval of any plat or plan containing provisions which do not comply with city code and for which a variance has not been
specifically identified, requested and considered by the appropriate city official in accordance with the appropriate provision
of city code or state law does not approve any items not to code specification.
Pursuant to UPC 608 a pressure regulator valve (PRV) shall be installed near the water shutoff.
Sound/Noise originating from temporary construction sites as a result of construction activity are exempt fi-om the noise limits
of ECC Chapter 5.30 only during the hours of 7:00am to 6:00pm on weekdays and 10:00am and 6:00pm on Saturdays, excluding
Sundays and Federal Holidays. At all othertimes the noise originating from construction sites/activities must comply with tile
noise limits of Chapter 5.30, unless a variance has been granted pursuant to ECC 5.30.120.

This series features two in -line, independent check valves, captured
springs and replaceable check seats with an intermediate relief valve.

Specifications
A Reduced Pressure Zone Assembly shall be installed at each potential
health hazard location to prevent backnow due to backsiphonage and/
or backpressure. The assembly shall consist of an internal pressure
differential relief valve located in a zone between two positive seating
check modules with captured springs and silicone seat discs. Seats and
seat discs shall be replaceable in both check modules and the relief
valve. There shall be no threads or screws in the waterway exposed to
line fluids. Service of all internal components shall be through a single
access cover secured with stainless steel bolts. Body and shutoffs shall
be constructed using Lead Free* cast copper silicon alloy materials.
Lead Free* reduced pressure zone assembly shall comply with state
codes and standards, where applicable, requiring reduced lead content.
The assembly shall also include two resilient seated isolation valves,
four resilient seated test cocks and an air gap drain fitting. The assem-
bly shall meet the requirements of: USC; ASSE Std. 1013; AWWA Std.
C51 1; CSA B64.4. Shall be a Watts Series LF009.

A
PRIER C-634 provides a year round source of water to areas of structures that are subject to freezing tempera-
tures. The hydrant valve is connected to the supply piping in the heated portion of the structure, eliminating
the possibility of freezing. To assure freeze protection, the hydrant will drain even with the hose attached and
under pressure.
The integral vacuum breaker/backflow preventor provides protection against cross -connection with the potable
water system, utilizing a check valve to prevent back pressure and a vacuum breaker to vent in the case of
siphonage. A removable operating key is provided to prevent unauthorized usage of the hydrant. No special
installation tools are required.
High flow rate, 19 gallons per minute at 25 PSI differential
Heavy pattern cast brass hydrant for use with or without brass or satin nickel box
Satin nickel plated body retains original finish for years
