FROM: JoAnne Zulauf Engineering Technician j oanne. zulauf kedmondswa. gov RE: Application #: BLD2024-0390 Project: Victor Tavern Signs Project Address: 55 Main Street COMMENTS 2 During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please submit revised plans/documents with a written response to each of the items below City of Edmonds handouts, standard details, application and other forms, and development code may be referenced on the City website: www.edmondswa.gov under Services/Permit Assistance. 1. Done. 2. Done. A street use permit is required in order for the awning to protect the city from liability since it is over a public sidewalk. The sign can't be issued until there is a permitted place to put it. Please have the building owner/or whoever wants to take on that liability submit for the street use permit. You can find the handout here to complete prior to applying through MBP. 4/2/24 Comment -- The Awning also requires a street use permit. This can be included with the sign and either the tenant or the building owner can apply for the permit. OR a separate permit for the sign can be applied for by the tenant and another for the awning by the owner. However you want the liability to line up. 4. Done. Confirmed no ROW permit required.
