Dear Plan Reviewer
We are writing this letter to request a waiver on the battery calculation requirements.
The scope of work for this project is to add (1) addressable heat detector to the existing Notifier
fire alarm control panel. This heat detector will draw max average standby at 300uA, alarm
max at 6.5mA. It is not a significant modification to the existing system. Existing fire alarm
panel addressable data loop is not full and operating under normal threshold. All existing fire
alarm field devices are to remain the same. All existing sequences of operations to remain the
same.
Since we are not making significant modifications to the existing system, we are requesting
calculation to be omitted on this project.
