We have uncovered decay at unit deck 3D rim, and cantilevered beam. The beam has decay of
around 1 /2" at the top face. How would you like us to proceed with repairs at the beam, and
rim?

INFORMATION RESPONSE
Repair deteriorated deck beams (cantilevered 4x12 typ.), and edge deck joist, and rim
joist per the attached detail sketch. Replace rusty existing straps at joists to match
existing, or use Simpson LSTA12.
