Plumbing drawings were not included in submittal documents. Provide plumbing connections
to sanitary sewer system and domestic water with backflow preventer.
2018/2021 UPC Sect. 304.1 and 602.3
Swedish response: As part of the connection to the domestic water system, MMFS will
procure (1) 3/ " Zurn Wilkins 975XL RPBA and install downstream of a new tempered
water mixing valve. OTC backflow permit will be procured, and test report
documentation provided as part of closeout.
Sanitary sewer system tie-in will be through a `guy gray" wall -mounted discharge box
for each docking station.
Not Approved 05/30/2024 — Concept is acceptable. Provided stamped plumbing design
documents to verify compliance.
PCRA indicates that part of the fire detection system will be impaired. ALSM says that fire
alarm detection and suppression system are not impaired. Clarify if the fire alarm or fire
suppression system will be impaired during the project. If the fire alarm system will be out of
service for more than 4 hours in a 24 hour period, provide fire watch.

previously swinging into the corridor and will now relocate to the shorter side of the ante
room wall. The distance from the ante room shown to existing casework is 7' — S " to
provide the clearance requirements.

Door on construction barrier at ante room swings out into the corridor. This creates a hazard
for patients being transported in corridor. Modify door to swing to swing in.
