This letter is an explanation of the plan for updating the deck/balcony located at 23616
Edmonds Way Unit H, Edmonds, WA 98020. The project is proposing to update the existing
deck/balcony to the same size and dimensions. The materials on the existing balcony include a
stucco finish and the proposed update will use lap siding to match the other condominium
balconies. General description is to demolition the existing stucco siding and update with new
sheathing, and LP Lap Siding to match the other condominium decks/balconies i.e. Unit A, F, E,
and G. In addition to the lap siding additional weatherproofing will be included which will
include a new top wood cap, metal flashing, and reinstallation of the existing metal railing. The
contractor, Clearview Constructions, has been selected and approved by the Homeowner and
HOA board to start work. We are attempting to obtain a permit to start the construction
process.
