Following our August coordination meeting regarding adding a crosswalk to the scope of this project, you had
asked for data regarding pedestrians. The purpose of this was to justify the need for a crosswalk at this
location.
On the project's side of the street, the crosswalk will be near the westernmost corner of the building, near
the shared driveway with the Puget Sound Express Whale Watching. On the opposite side of the street, the
crosswalk will come in between the driveways to Anthony's HomePort Restaurant and a parking lot (where
the boat launch is located.
The Port of Edmonds tracked down pedestrian crossing information from Puget Sound Express. Please note
that March and December are not full months of operation for them.

In addition to Puget Sound express, the Port of Edmonds anticipates an additional 50 (+/-) pedestrian
crossings for Port employees and the general public upon completion of this new building.
The nearest crosswalks are approximately 340 feet southwest and 970 feet northeast of this proposed
location.

C5.1 (street improvement and traffic control callouts), and C5.4 (added details)
