Background/History
In May of this year a position on the Arts Commission became vacant due to a resignation. A
recruitment advertisement was sent out in June with a deadline date of July 12. During this process,
there was another resignation, leaving another vacancy. A total of five applications were received, and
four candidates were interviewed by the Commission, with the fifth candidate withdrew their
application. Of the four candidates, two were put forward for the Mayor to interview for the two open
vacancies.
Staff Recommendation
Interview Alexandra Leggett for appointment to Arts Commission Position #6, General.
Narrative
Upon recommendation of the Arts Commission, Mayor Rosen interviewed Alexandria Leggett and is
recommending her appointment to the Arts Commission Position #6, General. This is a partial term that
expires on 12/31/2026.
