The removal of tree #5 has been APPROVED with the following conditions:
1) 2 trees must be planted to the rear of the building along the east property line in red
below:

Please note that only one tree may be deciduous and the trees can be no greater
than 30' apart per ECDC 20.13.030(C)(1). The minimum size at installation must be
1 '/2" caliper for deciduous trees, 8' in height multi -stemmed trees (vine maples),
and 6' in height for evergreen trees (ECDC 20.13.015(B)).
2) If there is not a fence at the east property line, shrubs a minimum of 3'/2' in height
must be planted so that the ground will be covered within 3 years.
Once the replacement trees have been planted, please notify me or the Planning
Division to schedule an inspection verifying the removal conditions have been met.
The removal of hazard trees #1 and #3 was approved under permit number
PLN2024-0053 per ECDC 23.10.040(F)(2) and as recommended by your arborist.
Trees that do not meet hazard criteria will be subject to the landscape modification
criteria under Chapter 20.13 ECDC. Additional tree removal for trees #2 and #4 will
require necessary Type I permits.
