Our bid states 50% down and 50% upon project completion but I understand if the Board does not want to pay that
much up front, so we could do 20% up front.
I can work on the permitting once the contract is signed (I know the balls in my court now so I'll follow up with my
attorney again on Monday when he returns).
In my past experiences with City of Edmonds, I would anticipate anywhere between 1-2 months for permitting.

Hi Toni,
I think doing all the decks up front would be beneficial for everyone.
I'm still waiting on the contract edits from my attorney. I just sent him a follow up email but looks like he's been out of
town this week so hopefully I have it back early next week.
I anticipate the project duration will be about 2 months, or 40 working days, weather permitting.
As of right now we are looking at a mid -September start date.
Big question is... does the Board want to pull permits for this project? Since we are removing and reinstalling the railings
a permit is technically required, which would obviously delay the project. Applying for a permit would also require
engineering and plans to be made.
