Isaiah,
According to our 6/12/24 Wood Damage Report, the new replacement beams were specified to be Doug -fir
laminating combination 24F-V8. Because these specified beams are substantially more expensive and with a
longer lead time, we've checked a Doug -fir laminating combination 24F-V4 and found that this laminating
combination will be an acceptable substitution for the specified 24F-V8 in all cases were new beams are
required.
