6. SISTER 1 3/4"LVL TO EACH EXISTING BEAM ON THE INTERIOR FACE. RIP LVL TO MATCH THE
BEAM DEPTH WHICH VARIES FROM 4x10 TO 4x12. REFER TO DETAILS FOR FASTENER
REQUIREMENTS.
7. INSTALL NEW SLOPING PRESSURE TREATED PLYWOOD DECK SURFACE TO MATCH THE DEPTH
OF THE EXISTING TOPPING SLAB THAT WAS REMOVED.
9. RE -INSTALL OR ADD NEW FASCIA AND TRIM AROUND THE DECK PERIMETER AND BEAMS BELOW.
10. INSTALL NEW CONTINUOUS DECK MEMBRANE SURFACE THAT LAPS UP 6" MINIMUM UNDER THE
EXISTING SIDING AND OVER NEW DRIP EDGE FLASHING INSTALLED AROUND THE DECK
PERIMETER. ALL WATERPROOFING DETAILS AND SYSTEMS ARE TO BE DESIGNED AND
INSTALLED BY OTHERS.
11. RE -INSTALL THE EXISTING HANDRAIL SYSTEMS TO THE DECK. INCORPORATE NEW BLOCKING
AND STRAPPING AT EACH HANDRAIL POST PER THE APPLICABLE DETAILS ON S3.1. HANDRAIL
PENETRATIONS AT PERIMETER SHALL BE SEALED AND FLASHED BY OTHERS.
12. INSTALL NEW VENTED ALUMINUM OR PVC CEILING PANELS AS APPROVED BY HOA.
