During review of the above noted application, it was found that the following information,
corrections, or clarifications are needed. Please submit revised plans/documents including a
written response to each item below.
City of Edmonds handouts, standard details, application and other forms, and development code
may be referenced on the City website: www.edmondswa.gov under Services/Permits and
Development.
SITE PLAN
Per conversations with the homeowner at the final inspection in October 2019, revisions were to
be made to the plans and a final re -inspection was to be scheduled once the revisions were
approved. The submitted site plan for the revision does not meet engineering requirements that
were outlined in the Correction Notice dated October 23, 2019.
1) A 20-foot asphalt apron is required from the alley toward the parking stalls on site. This
apron was not installed at the time of the inspection, is not shown on the revised site plan,
and was not observed at a site visit conducted on June 30, 2020. Please revise the plans to
show a 20-foot asphalt apron.
2) The retaining wall is still in the ROW —this will need to be removed prior to final
approval of the project. Please show on the site plan that the portion of the retaining wall
that is in the ROW will be removed. Please also note on the plans that the area from the
landscaping to the sidewalk shall not exceed a 2:1 slope.
