STRUCTURAL REINFORCED CONCRETE
All concrete shall meet the requirements of ACI-301, "Specifications For Structural Concrete For
Buildings." Place concrete per ACi-304 and conform to ACi-306R for cold weather placement and
ACI-305R for hot weather placement. Protect all concrete from premature drying. excessive hot
or cold temperature.
All concrete thicker or deeper than 4 inches shall be vibrated during placement Use internal
mechanical vibrators. Inserts. bolts boxes_ pipes. conduits, and other accessories shall be

IBC and shall conform to Table 2304-10-1 Fastening Schedule of the iBC_ Notations on drawings
regarding connectors refer to products by the Simpson Strong Tie Company. Catalog C-C-201 9
Where preservative treated lumber is cut or drilled after treatment, the cut surface shall be field
treated with approved preservative by repeated brushing, dipping or soaking until the wood
absorbs no more preservative.
