Generator
On behalf of the Planning Division, I have reviewed the above building permit application.
During review, it was found that the following information, corrections, or clarifications need
to be addressed. Please respond to the following items, so that review may continue:
1) Critical Areas Determination: A Critical Areas Determination must be completed and on file
with the City if your project involves any ground disturbing activity. Critical Area
Determinations are valid for 5 years, and your last Critical Area Determination is from 1995.
Please apply for an update to your critical area determination through the
MyBuildingPermit portal.
To apply for a Critical Area Determination, you will select:
1. Application Type: Land Use
2. Project Type: New
3. Activity Type: Critical Areas
Note: Geotechnical and biologist reports may be required if the proposed location of the
generator is adjacent to a critical area and not within the existing built footprint.
2) Site Plan: A true and accurate site plan is required for permit submittal. According to the
site plan, the generator will be behind the home, but will also be 25' from the street
property line, which would effectively be on the east side of the building. Please amend
your site plan to show the actual location and/or measurement from the property lines. If
an accurate site plan cannot be achieved, a survey will be required.
