Subject: Conveyor -Type Pizza Oven Protection

Underwriters' Laboratories Inc (UL) does not currently have a testing procedure for
conveyor -type pizza ovens; however, these appliances may require protection based on
the judgment of the local authority having jurisdiction. When protection is required.
conveyor -type pizza ovens are protected In the same manner as an upright broiler (see
page 3-8 and 3-9 of the Buckeye Technical Manual, P/N BFR-TM) One model N-1LP
nozzle is used to protect a conveyor -type pizza oven with a maximum cooking area of
36" wide by 24" deep Nozzle placement and aiming are as described in the referenced
section of the Technical Manual for upright broiler protection
